The 2025 Charlotte Labor Day Parade will be held Monday September 1st at 11 am in uptown Charlotte. Since 1999 the parade featured local labor union floats, vehicles, and marchers. The parade also features political candidates, bands, car clubs, business and civic groups. Organized by the Labor Day Committee in conjunction with the Charlotte-Metrolina Labor Council of the AFL-CIO, the Charlotte Labor Day Parade is a genuine Labor Day parade - put on by organized Labor honoring American Labor on Labor Day. Come on out for "an old fashioned parade - union made". DATE AND TIME: Monday September 1st at 11 am. Pre-parade assembly begins at 9 am at North College Street and Montford Point Street ROUTE: Parade begins at Tryon and 9th Street, proceeding down Tryon Street, through the Square, ending at 3rd Street.

We are now forming the 2025 Charlotte Labor Day Parade to be held in uptown Charlotte on Labor Day - Monday September 1st at 11 am. The parade route is the same - south on Tryon Street from 9th St., through the Square to 3rd St. where we disperse. Labor unions political candidates and parties, businesses, and civic groups are invited to register and join us in a genuine old fashion Labor Day Parade - Union Made. The entry fees for 2025 are as follows:
Civic groups - $100
Businesses - $100
Political candidates, elected officials - $100
Political parties - $150
Labor unions and organizations - $200
